  • Hawks Vittles

Just wanted to put up a public thank you to Redhawk for both a great product and customer service. I gave him only a few days notice of a trip I was taking for the Memorial day weekend and without a hitch he made my food with plenty of time to spare. Not only were the portions more than generous, but they taste amazing. Anyone looking for some great food from a great guy should look no further. Thanks again Redhawk and you have gained a loyal customer for life.

I had the cheddar cheese soup, bison stew, linguini with mushroom sauce, southwest lasagna, and clam vermicelli.

I had given Hawk Vittles a a while back. Prior to that I was using Mountain House, but the HV are better IMHO.

Looks like that Hawkman capitalist is doing well in his new venture! Congrats!

I have been using Hawks Vittles for trips the past couple years. I absolutely love the southwest Lasagna, even considered asking Hawk for his recipe a time or two . The taste is just great. Another one I especially enjoy is the breakfast casserole in the mornings, when everybody else is munching on oatmeal!

I love all Hawk's stuff but the Breakfast Casserole really hits the spot in the morning with coffee. Better than I usually eat at home. All the stews are great and the Hot Italian Sausage and Pasta is superb. It's hard to pick when loading my pack for a few days.

On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery.”

In the short time I've been here I've yet to read a negative report on Hawks vittles .

The bison stew is absolutely terrible; don't even try it. So if you have any, send it to me and I will take care of it for you.

Nice. You're such a giver, DT! Thanks for looking out for us.

I've used a good number of Hawk's main dishes on my canoe trips with my daughters, who tend to be picky and critical. Raves from all of us on everything we've tried! Especially important--they're not over-salted and re-hydrate as if freshly-made.

If you like it half as much as the Linguini and mushroom sauce I don't see it lasting very long.
