Having introduced a few kids to climbing in that area...I would lean more towards the Lake Pleasant Quarry (south of Indian Lake a bit). This time of year the Tamaracks will be in their full glory, the hike is short, and the family-centered climbing is awesome (especially if Tim and the camp of the woods crew is around). It's hard to imagine a better place for your youngest kids than there...even if it's an old quarry.

Looks like an old quarry - be especially careful of unreliable rock in there. Helmets, all; and stay away from the bottom of the wall when anyone is on it.

TCD: GeoLobo and doc are referring to the same place (the Lake Pleasant Quarry, aka "Toy Story Wall"). It's in the rock climbing guidebook. The rock is clean and well-equipped. Unfortunately, it's not super close to Indian Lake.
