How many of the NPT crossings are legit fords?

Off hand... Definitely the West Stony Creek, the West Branch Sacandaga River below Meco Lake, & the Jessup River during times of high water.

And currently either Moose Creek or the Cold River due to bridge work. Reason for "either" is one can choose to stay on npt at shattuck clearing and then ford moose creek, or go left and take the horse trail to ford the cold river and connect with the npt at Cold River #4 lean2.

Thanks guys.

Correction on my post. They finished the bridge yesterday, so the ford of moose creek is not needed.

I'm a Chevy guy myself! :)

Fall Stream also. And also Seward Brook currently has a bridge out.

It's been a super dry summer in the Adirondacks. Even with the recent rains, water levels are very noticeably low. Most of the fords should be pretty easy (unless we get a lot more rain before your hike).

I just completed and E2E hike and there was only 1 true ford, West Stony Creek. Wednesday 8/17 it was well below knee deep so it wasn't anything crazy.
