Woodhull Lake

I'm planning on exploring Woodhull Lake and was wondering if the "timber land" is open for public use like it is in so many other areas. I'm thinking of a spot to get out and possibly picnic or just stretch my legs - no campfires.
It looks like a nice quiet lake to paddle for the day. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Roughly 1/3 of of Woodhull is state land, Forest Preserve, and it's at the western end. You may get out and picnic and stretch all you want on Forest Preserve lands. The other parts of the lake are owned by the Adirondack League Club and they do not allow people on their land.

You may paddle around the entire lake, but don't trespass on League Club land.
