I've encountered bear paw prints at the Sand Lake Falls lean-to, slept just fine.

Didn't see the bear until I was hiking...

Last time I was there, it was in dire need of a new pit and stunk REALLY bad, like anywhere near it was unbearable(2012? idk).

200lbs would probably only be a slight exaggeration. Some of those large coolers can hold well over 100 cans of bear, and weigh 20lbs empty.

If it was a 100quart+ cooler, its not hard to imagine...

Just note that any trail information may be slightly off. Garmins own maps have some really old trail info in some cases.

The free "My Trails" is pretty good and looks to be taken...
