Yes in a tent, most scarry night I've ever spent in woods. There was a 2' dia pine down 3' from tent in AM, that was loud.

Fish don't care!! One of the best day I ever had fishing was with a fly that was almost shredded bt the only one I had in that pattern. Again fish didn't care.

I paddled this stretch with the river very high. No issues except as aid the first 200ft from put in. I think it was actually easier to paddle at high water. we never even noticed Griffins rapids....

You can get to upper via a carry off the Keese Mills road. about a 1/2mile carry. There is also a launch off from rt 30 that is off a short dirt road about a mile up from lake clear.

that write up is what it was like years ago. Very easy to follow trail once you find it off middle stream coming into Pink.
