I did not bother with cloth meat sacks since the meat had cooled over night. I simply put the meat in large clean plastic bags until I got back to the place I was staying and got it on ice.

A good alternative if you do not have ability to use a machine or have help is to bone out the buck in the woods. This is easy to do and saves a ton of wear and tear. I did it on my deer this year...

Way to go Skillzman1. Better to take a rushed shot than wait for the perfect shot and never get it off. Good job on the whole field to freezer process. It is very satisfying.
