ya, i hear ya LR, i used a hammock for a couple years. there's a lot to like about it. i just could never get a good nites sleep in one and had to abandon it. my problem is that i sleep on my stomach.

i'd suggest making stuff sacks 1st. sewing silnylon is a little tricky at first.
