I've come at it from North Lake side during black fly season and it was a huge mistake.
Even without the black fly torture the trail goes through some meadows that are very wet and boggy.

I'm the new owner of a 16' Tandem hornbeck that I've taken out a couple times. It's definitely going to take some practice in managing the wind while fishing.
It is about 35 lbs but feels lighter...
