Yes, the road should be plowed. There's a residence at the end near where you park. You cross a bit of private land but it's all marked, just stay on the path.

I'm pretty sure garlic and onions are God's gift to humans... I pretty much use them in anything that isn't a dessert.

There's more advanced stuff you can do too, but those things I mentioned...
