Fish Taxidermist recommendation

After a few years of trying I finally caught a nice Brook Trout. I wish to have a replica made. Erik at the Hungry Trout recommended Blackwater replicas. They do incredible work, but wanted $1000....

We went and saw the C-47 plane crash site on Blue Ridge Mountain on 10/14/12. I really fun trip. Rained most of the day and add the snow melt from a few days earlier, may the river very high & cold....

We all draw our own line when it is ok to kill and not eat/use it. Yup, we kill mice that take up residence in our house, but ironically we carry the spiders outside. Our line is pretty squiggly.

I used crampons & Mark used micro-spikes the entire trip up and down starting from Roaring Brook. The trail was all ice. The only place there was any real snow was the trail to Rocky but the crampons...
