There is also browns now in whey and lake trout in rollins. HUGE population of smelt in rollins so any bait that resembles a smelt will work. Mossback Rapala Shadow rap is a great lure to match smelt.

Stillhunter, yeah it was a total goof up on this pond in specific. It was reclaimed in 92 or 97 i dont recall. It has been used for years to get breeding males to mate in the hatchery.

Accidental stocking and holding those responsible.

So what where to happen to me or anyone if we stocked fish in a trout pond that where never to be in the pond in the first place......We would be most likely fined, arrested and humiliated in forums...

Where Colby is open I drove to some trout ponds between Paul Smith's and Malone and they still had ice. Looks like next weekend you can all tell work you won't be in as your arms in a cast lol.

Thank you david. I did read a report on closing campsites but most had to deal with Follensby clear pond in specific. They have old sites that have been grandfathered in but do not meet the law...
