I see on my DEC supplied Whitney Wilderness map (dated 10/2016) that there are 24 designated sites plus the lean to.
Is that count still accurate?

Well, I can tell you this much, the resident Great Blue Heron did not want that Egret anywhere around. It would chase the Egret away at all hours of the day...

I didn't see it happen, but they were barely in the water. Nephew's GF was a little shaky in the boat anyway, it's a lively hull. The boat is definitely more stable for them when it's loaded.
