I donít remember seeing it, might have been hidden beneath snow & ice, but the trail/road leading to the shore was quite obvious.

Nice view of the open ledges on No. 8 Hill from there also, one of the most rewarding bushwhacks in the Pharaohs. :)

I just checked the distance tool on Caltopo and it said about 3.6 miles from the cabin to the Cedar River crossing as the crow flies give or take.

I don’t really remember but off hand I’d say it was about 3-4 miles, but I believe you can now park by the old outer Gooley Club cabin which shortens the distance by a mile or so.
