There's a place outside of Fort Anne that just opened an area for dirt bikes (motorcycles) , not sure about ATVs. It's rather successful and it's privately owned. It can be done.

As usual the DEC is all over the place on this. Yes, some LTs have been moved back, but some have been repaired where they are; Ouluska, Queer Lake are two examples.

You can drive to the TH for Brooktrout. There is also a lean-to there, not sure about tent sites. It's been safe for my car when I've been there.

They were the survey stations in years past. E-Town #4 was the 4th survey station for the E-town quad. No other name that I'm aware of.

Many locals can just throw up a tent in their own backyard, have a fire and roast weiners at home and save the money. They of course miss the time at the beach, etc.
