Depends on the snow cover. The more snow the better for both of those trails. But, although it's longer, i would choose Blue as it might be a better overall winter trail.

My bad, I mis-read that you wanted to ice fish. This is great warm-weather spot.

I agree on Prospect Pt. Cabins. A few years ago they even had ice shanties of their own you could use.

On Dec. 8 I walked on a small pond where I hunt that is about the same elevation. There was about 6 inches of ice. However, we've had a warm spell since then, and have another one coming.
