Got up to sw adaks today for some hiking with the wife and a little scouting for brookie waters. Water seems to be pretty low already. I did manage to catch two small brookies 4 -5 on a new to me...

Big Marsh Mountain near G Lake

Right by G lake. Topo maps show a trail. I can't find any info online about it. SLIM doesn't show anything. Just wondering if anyone has been up this mountain.

why doesn't the DEC stop stocking brown/rainbow trout in any stream that is a traditional brook trout stream. Which would be all of them. Concentrate on stream quality and let mother nature bring...
