Windfall has a site, but I don't think it's a legal one. Same with Constable. Woods are very thick in there, a hammock might be the best thing to take.

Who knows. It could be a rainy w/e and keep many people out of the woods, but I would assume it will be busy and take a tent, hammock, some kind of personal shelter and be prepared to share.

I haven't been there recently, but the road to Day Clearing ( a few miles to the south) was just improved with a nice layer of gravel so any vehicle can drive it. Maybe DEC is on top of road...

Pharaoh road is in very rough shape now. Even a high clearance vehicle will have to take it slowly. A small SUV??? Who knows about that. Besides, real hikers walk the road.

It was the flood of all the water out of Duck Hole when Irene broke the dam that brought this canoe here. I did the trail 3 weeks after Irene and the canoe was full of water.
