I keep a Crown Royal bag filled with balsam needles with my deer hunting hats, gloves, etc. Don't know if it helps with scent control, but I smile when I think about how that bottle got killed....

ADKPB, those are some pretty hefty pike. Do you keep any for the fryer? IMO they taste as good as walleye!

A pond or little stream could get smoked with a limit like that. It wasn't too long ago NYSDEC got rid of the 5 extra brookies under 8" daily limit that was in place for certain parts of the state.
