Anyone seeing chanterelles yet? I usually start seeing them the first week in July up here. I assume they may be popping up in central/southern NY already. Definitely my favorite!

April 1 2012. The ice was out on most ADK ponds late March that year. The fishing was slow as I remember but there were a few nice ones...

I fully agree with that! It's gonna be an early one this year. Fished more days in January than ever, February looks like more of the same! The fish seem to be enjoying the fair weather too!
