That helicopter looks a lot like the one I saw stocking while I was fishing a pond last fall.

I think that is a great accomplishment and...

I think that is a great accomplishment and something to be very proud of. It made me grab a pen and paper to list the trout ponds I've fished and while it's far short of your number I was surprised...

Nice catch...congrats.

The ferns in the last pic caught my eye. They're in almost every pond I fish and work nicely to help keep trout damp and cool for the walk out.

My reliable source confirmed the stocking mistake, although I don't think anyone ever admitted it. Since 2009 but not including 2015, 33,800 fall fingerling brook trout have been fed to the lake...

I was also told that the lakers were stocked by mistake. I could be wrong but it seems like the first few trips all we ever caught were brookies.

Thanks for the advice...might try the flipflops. On a sandy beach I stepped into the hornbeck and kept my feet dry and that was my one and only attempt at that. I could tell I was pushing my luck.
