Wow, the view from high on Shelving Rock Cliff during Saturday's climbathon was stellar. Snow-white boat wakes on deep blue water, a gemstone clear sky, wonderful climbing and more wonderful climbing...

Stick to the brook

I remember it looking pretty thick, and then cliffy, on my right as I walked up the brook. My guess is, the brook is the best bet. If there was a better way, one of them thar locals woulda found it...
