Gone are the days when you could stick a marshmallow into the bark of a three foot wide tree for an instant backstop or throw a bad ping pong ball into the Mississippi River to have a moving, bouncing target. Glass light bulbs were easier to hit.....

Sounds like it would be good idea to shoot into a target that retains and traps the shot.

What could that be?
Do they make such a target. Possibly for a range in the basement.

All I can think of is a watermelon or pumpkin, but then they'd be a mess to carry out.
