Anyone know the status of the road, open or closed for Pilsbury Mtn?

According to the DEC website, the gates are still closed. The update is dated 3/22, but they've seem to be better about updating the trail conditions regularly in the past year or so, so I assume it's still accurate.

The road was still closed when I went by there on 4/4/12. The sign on the gate says its closed until the end of May. However, with the mild winter, the road may be opened earlier.

Thanks for the update, was thinking of heading that way today. Road closure and work have changed that idea

According to the town highway garage this morning the gates are now/still open. Not sure if the recent precipitation will require any additional road work and a future closure. May be heading over this weekend to open up camp and wet a fly line or two.
