Lillian Brook Path

Does anyone have any current info re conditions on the Lillian Brook Path off the Macomb -Pough-Hough Ridge down to the Elk Lake- Dix Trail? Haven't done it in years, but want to give a friend a good update.

Not current, but did it in July last year (which was much wetter YTD than current year). Easy to follow, but the worst, wettest, muddest trail of the summer, and we did about half the 46 last year. Actually, it was the wettest of the complete 46 adventure in two years. Then the trail back to Elk Lodge was a mudbath too. Again a different year, but fair comparison to other trails.
Would be curious on current conditions too, or its always a mess, as want to do Macomb again due to clouds last year.

Are you planning on climbing or descending Lillian?

We descended it a year or so ago at dusk, finishing with headlamps on. We were moving pretty quickly (for us) and I do not recall any navigational issues or significant obstacles.

Thank you.
