Patch for climbing all of the fire tower mountains

And by all, I mean all. Every publicly accessible mountain that either still does, or once did, have a fire tower standing on the summit. Obviously, contrary to the current patch, the fire tower need not still be standing in order for the mountain to count.

I think that this could be a neat idea that would take you some places that very few people ever go. I've always wanted to climb Kempshall Mountain simply because the NPT Guidebook says it's not worth it, that there's no view and the trail is no longer maintained. Climbing all of the former fire tower peaks would be challenging and fun. I think I might work on this goal in conjunction with my goal of staying in every lean-to, and finishing the hundred highest.

It's possible that this would have to be limited to mountains that had metal structures, as I'm sure there were numerous peaks with simple wooden platforms, some of which are surely lost to history by now.

Of those that no longer have a tower standing, I've done (in no particular order):

In the Adirondacks:

In the Catskills:

This site is an excellent resource for the subject.

Anyone have any interesting experiences on fire tower mountains that no longer have a tower? Who's with me on this? (I'm sure some people out there have climbed more of them than I have!)

Kempshall was a nice walk but not much of a summit. T-Lake was interesting as we found old markers from the trail as well as the old dump with some pretty old bottles. I remember being on Pharoah when the tower had just come down and was a useless piece of metal and glass.
