Pharaoh Wilderness snow

Does anyone know how much snow there is at Pharaoh Lake? Would like to ski March 20.

There's enough to ski. Might be a few bare exposed spots, but in the woods there's still at least a foot. (At least there was around our place in Horicon last weekend.)

I've generally found the WeatherStreet snow model to be accurate: http://www.weatherstreet.com/city_sn...snow-depth.htm

Looks like about a foot of snow across most of the area, with bare ground on south-facing aspects of the hills. The area will probably pick up some more snow with the coming storm, but it does also sound like most of the snowfall will be further north.

Thanks, that's about what we found.

Not sure about what’s happened in the past few days but I was just an exit north in the the Hammond Pond region last weekend and there was still over a foot of of snow in the woods with patches of bare ground on the south facing open areas. Streams are a runnin’!

& I was just a bit north of Hammond Pond WF - at Split Rock Mtn WF - there was just patchy snow - most of the route was snow & ice free
