Bored at the vice

With the slight fear of being tarred and feathered, I have to honestly say...I am SICK of tying trout flies..one more size 20 micro wonder fuzz bug and I'm going on a week long whiskey binge.

So for the sake of my sanity (and my dogs)...Lets see some flies that'll entice a essox or two.

Looks like your buddy is sick of you sitting at the vise as well, get that pup out in the woods chasing some Partridge , OK Grouse, I'm from New England.
Here are a few I've been working on, all good fish catchers and relatively east to tie.

Ranger, if you're bored maybe you should try Wildbrookies trick. He ties nymphs with fur from his dog, Buffy. To this day the Buffy Special is one of my favorite flies.

And John M, feel free to put all those nice flies in a box and send them to me. I won't complain!

Oh,Vt is sooo right. Some dogs are gifted with magical powers lurking within their undercoats(dubbing) that the trout can not resist. I need to build back up my Buffy Special inventory as soon as I finish off this bamboo I'm currently working on. Try your doggies undercoat! You might be surprised! Although I don't pursue essox, VT`s son might have a few patterns that those big toothy quarry might gobble up. He has an extraodinary talent in tying any fly ,big ,small ,jointed or wired.

WB

btw, Very nice inventory of flies ready for action!
