Winter Weather Forecast

I just saw a winter weather outlook (see link below if interested). The Northeast is predicted to have an above average temperature Winter. I generally don't place much stock in long term forecasts. But there is some sound Science (ocean temps and currents) that goes into the NOAA seasonal forecasts. I believe it's much more Science based than Farmers Almanack forecasts.

It snowed on the Whites today. Even at 1000 feet this little soft white stuff

It snowed in the Adirondacks today also, even in the southern region.
