Raymond Brook - 2/16/14

Went for a nice ski in North Creek today. We parked at the Snow Bowl and skied up to Ive’s Dam via Rabbit Pond. We then made our way over to Raymond Brook for the trip to the Snow Bowl. Ski conditions were excellent, cover was very good, trails are well marked with no blowdown. We did not see very many people out for a holiday weekend. Stopped at Café Sarah for a sandwich after the trip.

Glad to hear it's not been skied out yet. Great spot and perfect day.

Update - I went there today (2/17). Still great. My wife and I were passing by and she offered to drop me off at the top of Barton Mines Road and pick me up at Rt 8. I told her it would be about an hour. 53 minutes, door to door. Great snow conditions. Rev had great fun running along behind me.
