Big Slide snowy bushwhack.
Awesome bushwhack of Big Slide. I wrapped around the east end and traversed east to west between Big Slide and Porter/Cascade. Serious cliffs on either side of me. Beautiful fields of autumnal ferns and open woods. A wide open slab, deep moss, sod holes and, of course SNOW were all on the menu. Froze my feet, hands and legs but got a few pictures. Hiked out over Yard and met Sylvie in the van (pure heaven) at South Meadows. Another amazing project for ADK-46B2 number 17.

Nice photos. I thought those mushrooms fruit when I first glanced at them, that was confusing
![]() So cool to read about your bushwacks Neil. You see things few if any others ever see or will see. |

Beautiful photos. Looks like a good day; and it's nice to see a bit of snow again.
That's all for now. Take care and until next time...be well. snapper |

Great photos, I bet that bare rock was steep as hell and photos don't do the true steepness justice. Psyched about the snow!!
