Question Ledge Pond Accesability

Has anyone been to Ledge Pond in the St Regis Canoe Area recently? I'm wondering if there is enough water in the creek to paddle from Pink Pond up to the start of the carry to Ledge? 3 of us are planning to take our solo canoes up there in the near future.

We were there in early July before the recent monsoons
We could easily paddle from Pink to Little Pink but only went about 30 yards up the sluice towards the Ledge carry too little water too much mud and vegetation
Plus MDB was not overly motivated!
If I were you I would still give it a shot another inch or two of water would make a huge difference

Was there in early August. Portaged out via the longer unmarked portage from the unnamed pond north of Pink. On the way back we took the creek but regretted it, had to get out and line the canoe.

Thanks for the info, guys! Spork, did you have any trouble finding the unmarked carry trail? I have fished that pond in the past, but don't recall seeing the trail.
