Certainly not a 'grand landscape' but an 'intimate landscape' taken from one of the oxbow overlooks at the Wild Center a week or so ago. I really like the majestic look to a lot of the images posted in this thread. I find this one much 'quieter'.

How do you get the images to show up without the 'attached images' box?

Thanks PW, it's from that hill behind Middle which is sort of in between Middle and Murphy Lake, an easy fun bushwhack that I did a little over a month ago.

I did get out this past Saturday for a little while in the Silver Lake Wilderness, looking to check out the Three Ponds & Three Ponds Mtn, but my energy level was not at it's best because of the wedding I attended the night before , so I didn't make it as far as I had hoped and didn't really get any decent photos to share, so this 'week' it'll have to come from the archive.

Here's another photo (with Jenny) of that hill behind Middle Lake from the southern shore of Middle Lake:

Finally got out for some ice-fishing with my brother,WB.

It seemed to work better in black & white. Of course I still needed a RED flag on my tip-up as Wb has always stated, so I used Elements 6 to color the flag.
