Keeseville, NY Dugway - Mace Chasm Loops 4/19/12

Barb and I did a very nice 22 mile loop starting from my house this morning.

This loop can be started from downtown Keeseville, at the Mac's grocery store on Main St, (Rt 9). You can easily add more miles to this bike.

Take Rt 9 North to the jct with Rt 22 west, about 2 blocks, the jct with 9N South, about another 2 blocks. You will continue on 9N South until you come to Clintonville and Lower Road, you will take the left onto Lower Road and eventually Dugway Road. Follow Dugway Rd to Rt 15 (left). Rt 15 will take you back out to Rt 9 North. Follow Rt 9 North to Chesterfield Rd/Thompson Rd to Mace Chasm Rd (left) to Cnty Rt 17 (left) back into downtown Keeseville.

This is a very scenic ride that does provide some nice, short hills.

Here are some pics to enjoy and the map.

Dugway Rd is awesome! Some of the sweetest riding in the N. Adks. I love that part where it climbs up into the trees before Auger Lake Rd.

Yeah, one of my favorites from the house.

Have you gone UP Auger Lake Rd?? I said to Brian one day, where does that go honey? He said, DOWN to Auger Lake. (me) Oh, lets check it out. There was no down until the way back!!! It is a great ride back down!!
