Still in the draft phase, but as some may recall, the IMBA submitted a proposal to the DEC for adding mountain bike trails to Moose River Plains Wild Forest.

My two cents are as such:
Not a lot of what the IMBA threw in was considered. I didn't suspect that would be the case. What the DEC has proposed with the draft is much cleaner and leaves much of the wild parts of MRPWF undisturbed. Most of the development is linking into existing snowmobile trail networks and is near more intensive use areas i.e. nearer to RT 28 and Inlet.
It looks like a good compromise that won't affect too much of the natural character of the area.
