I really liked the "90 miler" segment.
A new addition on the "to do" list.
Summer of 2010.
I'll need someone for the front. I have 17' kevlar.

Be sure you get on the mailing list, and/or check the macscanoe website frequently for information. For some classes you need to get in right away as soon as registration opens (usually late June), or you could be shut out. There is a hard limit of 250 boats total, but some classes are far more popular than others and get closed...or entrants may be chosen by weighted lottery.

You may want to warm up in one of the many other shorter races to get in shape for the 90 Miler. Most races have a good mixture of serious competitors along with those who just want to finish for fun as a goal.

Your deadline for entry would be July 2010, so you still have some time... I might be interested in paddling with you in 2010, but not sure if I can sit in the bow of a canoe that long. I'd have to get a "try out". I did the 90-Miler in '01 with my solo canoe, and in my solo kayak 2 years ago. It's a LOT of work!
