Question Lake George island sites-platform size??

We are first time campers and we're taking the boat to do an awesome few day trip .... Cannot find ANYWHERE the size of the platform???? Photos look small I'm beginning to wonder what size tent will fit us all (5) and fit on the platform????

I'd call the DEC local ranger and ask (there are different ranger stations for the different groups of islands). Which island are you camping on? I stayed on Juanita Island in 2006 and there was one or two large sites with no platforms that could easily fit a few large tents. Other sites had platforms which could probably fit a 4-person tent, but of course it depends on the size of the tent.

A ranger will probably be able to assist you, but the campgrounds are more directly operated by the DEC's Division of Operations. You might obtain information a bit more quickly and directly if you contact the DEC office in Warrensburg.
