"Man of the Woods" by Herbert Keith

I'm rereading a volume that was a gift from my niece in the late 70's.
An interesting history of Wanakena, Cranberry Lake, fishing and camping on the Oswegatchie River starting in the early 1900's.

I would love to come across a copy somewhere, it has long been out of print.
It looks like a good read.
Enjoy

Thank you Bioguide , I just added another book to my collection.

Mine is a first signed first edition, I'll probably donate it to the Northville public library.

Thank you for the head's up on this book. It is well-enough written to make reading it a pleasure. I like getting the authentic old-time perspective direct from the author who lived it. I learned a lot about life in turn-of-the-20th century Adirondacks just in the context of the stories. Plenty of copies available on Amazon now, but, if you wait a bit, a more reasonably-priced copy will pop up.
