Gee, if a bunch of flies arrive early I might just have to go pre-fish them. Just so I know everybody will get a quality product, mind you!

You will make a great Quality Control person…just don't wear `em out..catch one fish on each fly.

The first box arrived today! All I have to say is that the quality is first rate and so is the pattern.

2nd package is here!Yet another super nice pattern and well executed tie. Woohoo!

A note: I'm anticipating that most of us will be done this week. I'll be travelling all next week so the earliest possible date for distribution is next weekend...

Thats fine with me. I'm in no hurry. My rivers/trout don't wake up til an ungodly water temp. of 50 or so is reached anyway. And, that could be into May most years. Just hoping for a very successful year this for all of us! And ,that we post our success ,especially ,if fish are caught with the distributed flies! Gonna fish`em hard!

Just got another box of flies, this time from WB!!! All I'll say is that they're two of my favorite patterns and one (tied by WB himself) yielded an absolutely enormous brown trout from a certain lair we both know about. That was several years ago so I'm sure the trout have forgotten all about it!

NICE tie, btw!!!

P.S. For any of you who might have been thinking about breaking into my kitchen and stealing all the swap flies for yourself there are two things you should know:
1. You would never survive being licked to death by Hamish the border collie.
2. I'm not away this week as planned. My trip got cancelled as I was sitting in the airport.

The good news is we can wrap up this swap just as soon as the last couple of packages come in!

1. Do you really want me to send you a box of flies? Think back to the last box you received from me.
2. You relinquished your crown last year. Henceforth, you are not even allowed to use the initials. It's time to get over it.

I've been soaking these dried umbilical cords in blood for weeks now. I change the plasma solution every twelve hours, but only when the Sun is down.

If all goes well, the cords should be pliable enough to tie the necessary flies, at 5:58 pm today.

Looks like it might be a nice day.

(This stuff is incredibly tough).

This is why I, and Sidney Reilly, rely on pigeons.

VT-

I would love to see one of my flies firmly embedded in one of those biggies that still maybe swimming around in those waters. And a cool photo of it too!

I think we all need to post pics. First one of us to catch a fish on a swap fly starts the thread!

I have it on reasonable authority that flying monkeys have been dispatched with the last parcel of flies. We should be able to get flies sorted and turned around next week!

I agree! Lets make this swap even more special!

Watching the skies for foreign objects carrying said parcels! Given their approximate travel path ,they should be over my house soon….how do they fly at night? Must be trained very well by Sero.
