Sorry all

I just got back into the country, and now Mavs is out of the country himself for a bit...when he gets back we'll regroup and try to put something together.

I'm interested too Scott. If you and Tim reach a decision that produces some retail items let me know please.

Hello?
Anybody there?
I brought up the idea in the early Spring, and here we are in mid Fall and still no word if this idea is something that is being considered or not.
It was just a thought.
I understand if it's something that the foundation is not willing to do, just please let us know what's up.
Some sort of feedback would be nice, or at least maybe delete this thread all together so we (I) can just forget about it and move on, and not have to look at this thread everyday without any response from those in charge.
I guess we'll all have to just rely on the secret hand shake.

Or maybe shirts? Shirts and hats? How about ADK Forum coffee cups, logo on one side and choice of photo on the other side? I would be in for any of those things.

Hi all,

We are working on this....... One obstacle we have is the whole concept of "branding". You business geeks might know what this is, but for you just normal folks like me, we're just learning this stuff as we go

We will be coming out with some "logo'd apparel" including hats, patches, bumper stickers, etc... Both forums are asking for stuff equally. The problem we have is with logo. The inventory and project is something that would be funded by the ADKHighPeaks Foundation, which owns these both these forums and ADKHP. Both forums are asking for stuff equally.

Unfortunately, we have two "identities" right now. The foundation logo, and the traditional logo for this forum too, and we want to be true to those loyal here and to the foundation at the same time. The plan that is to have our primary logo'd stuff out there with the "Foundation" logo, because it encompasses everything with do, including the forums, our stewardship stuff as well as our charitable contributions. We would hope that that would get supported.

At the same time, we are not opposed to limited runs with the specific ADKF logo on it like shirts (like we did last time - I still have mine ), or hats. They are a secondary priority, and because we don't have the "seed money" to order all this inventory at once, we'll have to go at a rate that does not interrupt our Foundation work. That means the Foundation stuff will come out first, and then the more limited scope ADKF stuff next.

We'll be rolling out some Foundation gear in a few weeks, and hopefully with a month or two after that (if it's supported well enough), have another run that is more specific to the identity here (i.e. logo).

That the short version of the update. Let me know if you have questions.

Here's the foundation logo (if you have not seen it).
