suggestions on trout fishing backpacking trip

I'm looking for a good place for a short 2 day backpacking, trout fishing trip for next week,
i was looking at lower sargent pond, but i've heard it may be dead from acid rain
any suggestions?

What about Horn Lake? That's a beautiful and remote area with a heritage strain of wild brookies. There are a lot of nice streams in the area to explore too.

We might get snow this weekend though...
