I was there yesterday. The flooding is about halfway between Rte 8 and the footbridge at the outlet of Buckhorn Lake. To be exact... 0.6 SE of Rte 8 and 0.55 from the bridge. The reroute will not keep you completely dry unless you're very careful. In one spot that's about 10-12 feet across there is only one small rock and the roots of a tree that are above water. If you miss either or slip you're gonna get wet.

NW edge of flooding. The dam there is about 2-3 feet high.

Yep, that's the spot I was thinking of. And yes it's much much worse than it was in the fall. Seems like a good place for those two log/beam bridges.
