Van Hoevenberg and Indian Head.My wife and I both enjoy photography(probably more then the actual hike)and would like to know from those of you who have taken photos at these locations if there is a best time or a time to avoid(sun glare ,etc)Thanks Much

I have a camp in Newcomb, which is right near Goodnow. I've hiked it about 50 times (no joke) and I too love photography!! It is a great mountain for sunsets and sunrises (but they all are) and you don't really get a view until you go up the firetower, but its well worth it. If you are near Goodnow towards evening, also go to Rich Lake (about 2 mins away) because it is an amazing spot for sunsets.
