Cold Steel

It was cold. It snowed. UpstateDave, Ross and I achieved many perfect drifts and a good number of steelhead were fooled. End of report.

Looks like a really successful day. I'm sure those fish helped you forget about the cold. Amazing how much more we're willing to tolerate when the fish are biting! Glad you had a great day. Thanks for sharing.

VT,
Nice to see you guys made it up there for some beautiful Metalheads!! Glad you all got into them. Good to see Ross back in this area and hasn't lost any of his magic and doing well too! Really nice photos! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice VT! I missed my annual chromie trip this year because of work but I can still live vicariously through you. Thanks for posting.

And you, Sero, know more music than I've ever heard. So now the hard question> Can a Metalhead be caught on a Junebug imitation?

No.
You have to use live bait.

I will defy conventional wisdom. Next season I'll fish exclusively with this:

WB... what kind of Folk do you like?

Do you like Bulgarian Folk?
Vulgarian Folk?
Ancient Tuvan throat singers?

I have some recent Icelandic Viking songs from 890 A.D.
Or perhaps you prefer some nomadic folk from the Sahara....

Seems to be folk everywhere.

Here's a song written by bugs:

I think they're Buddhists with banjos.
