Views from fire tower summits

Hi, not a huge fan of heights so I don't climb fire towers. Wondering if any of these fire tower mountains have good views from the summit without climbing the tower?

Adams, Azure, Bald, Loon Lake, PokeO, Lyon, Pillsbury, Snowy, Wakely.

Thanks.

ZERO view from Adams without climbing the tower. PokeO has a nice view without climbing the tower.

Azure is good. Snow good from the cliffs just before the summit but less than 180 degrees. Bald is fine.

There are no views without the tower on Wakely, and Pillsbury. However, you never know. There are some highly prolific bushwhackers out there who find spots way off the trail.

As for Snowy, you can get more views. There are multiple cliffs around the summit with herd paths leading to them. When you reach the summit you will be at a clearing with a eastern view immediately to the right. This is the primary cliff that everyone talks about. Immediately to your left is the trail leading to the tower. Believe me people miss that trail and are completely unaware there is a tower on the mountain. It's only 5 minutes away. When you go to the cliff and turn your back to it, you will face the summit woods. The trail to the tower is on the left where you finished your climb. Look to the far right and there is a herd path that will lead to cliffs for a northwestern view. It might have a few trees blown down on it. The herd paths run along the western edge of the summit and rejoin with the fire tower trail around a muddy area. Sometimes it gets tight among the spruce in there. The summit is short and narrow so it won't take long to navigate it. Just be careful with the cliffs. They are abrupt and it's straight down.

The view to the west is beautiful though. You are standing overlooking a deep valley with Panther and Buell Mountain right in front of you (Not the same panther at Piseco or the high peaks). These are part of the lower 54 of the 100 highest. Blue can be seen beside Panther's summit in the background. Panther is the higher peak, in front, with multiple knobs curving up to it. Wakely is on the left in the distance due west.

Lyon has a good view. An open ledge in front of the tower. Sort of Northeast to Southeast.

Wakely has a partial view that's not too bad from the helipad you pass by before you get to the tower. Definitely not as grand as the view from the tower, but it's at least something to reward the steep climb..

(If you go to the 'Firetower' subthread in the Hiking thread and look at the post w/ the title "Wakely mnt?" I actually posted a picture of the view from there in a thread from several years ago)
