East side Lake George Wild Forest hikes

If you are doing any of the LGWF hikes that use the Hogtown Road in Fort Ann (notably Sleeping Beauty, Shelving Rock and one of the trailheads to Buck), you should be prepared for a long detour for the next few months.

This is not the main route that's being closed, but the connecting road from South Bay to Hogtown. The main route from Rt. 149 to Day Clearing, Shelving Rock etc. will not be closed. The Post-Star article is somewhat misleading.
