  • If you could only own 10 albums the rest of your life...

What 10 albums could you not live without?

    I'll start!

    1) Gorillaz - Demon Days

    2) U2 - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb

    3) Radiohead - In Rainbows

    4) Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid

    5) Doves - The Last Broadcast

    6) The Smiths - Strangeways Here We Come

    7) The Cure - Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me

    8) Broken Bells (self titled)

    9) Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare

    10) Big Audio Dynamite - Planet BAD: Greatest Hits

The fact that pretty much each one of these bands have other albums just as good as the ones I've mentioned is what makes it absolute torture! There is TONS of great music I'd have to live without...but these albums are the ones I'd absolutely have to have if I could only have 10.

    Care to play?

Yeah DuctTape - early REM is awesome...and the only reason Joshua Tree was left off my list was because I really could only choose one U2 album not to leave out other stuff I love.

I had a toss up between Blood on the Tracks and Biograph. But the best track off the album, "Tangled Up In Blue" is on Biograph. Also love "Simple Twist of Fate", "Shelter from the Storm", and "Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts".

Having just 10 is really hard. There're a few more that would be tough to live without, but I'm not sure which of my original 10 I'd give up to have them. Example - AC DC: Back In Black.
