Crane Pond Road

Has anyone been in Crane this spring, if so how was the road ??

I'll be there this weekend. Last month there was a tree down across the road just beyond where the Blue Hill trail comes in (which by now no doubt has been removed), but the rest of the road is like it always is...muddy & rocky.

Unless something has recently changed, then the road to Crane Pond is officially closed and should not be traveled on. Doing so would be illegal.

It was a great day to be on Crane. Sounded like everyone in your group has great memories of such a special place.

Well if you were part of that crew camped near the launch I sure felt bad for you guys. Flies were horrible in that bay!

Nope I was in Newcomb working on a road at our hunting camp...they were very friendly...also had a deer tick ride home with me....
