LOVE IT! They've been doing a lottery the last 2 years for kids to go on stage (for safety reasons, etc) so who knows if they'll get to do it again. We had been taking a bike trailer that converts to a stroller to haul them around late night, but they are too big for it and I sold it last year. I really don't want to take their wagon, but they are too big to carry now! We have some time to figure it out.

Grace is so hot. That picture of her is, well, you know.

Made it to Sunday this past year for our first Moe.down, great vibe. We'll be there all weekend this year. Our friends camp was real close to yours. May have cut thru your area a few times

Stop in for a beer. Can't miss us with 'Old Glory' flying high above our campsite.

It was great, we had so much fun!
Thanks so much for asking.
Friday was a little rainy early, but it started to clear up later in the afternoon.
Sat & Sun were gorgeous!
Bands were great!
Everybody was very friendly.
It was my girlfriend's birthday on Sun, and we were able to get a "Happy Birthday Keri" announcement from moe on Sunday night.
Absolutely love the moe.down!
Can't wait for next year!
Will post some photos when I get the chance.

Like to see those photos. Came close to checking it out this year but didn't think I could handle the crowds. Glad you had a good time but then you seem pretty adaptive.

2 weeks away!

moe.down 15

Anybody going?
Another great lineup this year!
I'm super excited to see Les Claypool, and Buffalo's own Aqueous as they make their return to Snow Ridge. I'm also looking forward to the Rich Robinson Band, Jerry Douglas Band, a local favorite Conehead Buddha, an Adirondack favorite Floodwood, and of course moe.!

Anyone familiar with Twiddle?
Curious about these guys too.

Twiddle is supposed to be really good. They play Albany a lot so my friends see them pretty regularly. Les Claypool is SO amazing live.

I've never been to Moe. Down. I'm a disco biscuits fan (go ahead, I've heard em all ) so I've been to the past 10 camp bisco's. It's been weird not going to a festival this year. Have a blast man!

Thanks Crep, will do.
Leaving first thing in the am.

Camp bisco... Ah yes, I've never been, but have heard some horror stories.
I've seen the bisquits at moe.down before, as well as snoe.down. I like a few of their songs, but they can be a bit too techno for my taste at times.

I'm slightly concerned that moe.down is back to Labor Day Weekend this year.
The past 2 years during August was very relaxed and laid back. Always a good time though,

Just wanted to post a quick report for those interested, thanks again for all the friendly messages over the years.

We had a blast!
Weather was great Fri & Sat, rained a little early Sun on & off, no biggie, then it got nice again.
Bands and crowds were fantastic, can't wait for next year!
Highlights for me were Les Claypool's Duo De Twang, Conehead Buddha, Wild Adriatic, Floodwood, Aqueous, OAR, and moe.
I was bummed Rich Robinson cancelled, but another set of Lotus was ok by me.

A few photos to share...

Heading in with my sister (Shannon), and her fiancÚ & my good buddy (Jason):

No moe.down again this year...
But we had an absolute blast on our road trip to see Moe. play a 2 night show at the Saranac Brewery in Utica this past weekend!
We also enjoyed a fun day at Sylvan Beach, and many thanks to our new friend Steve at Buffalo Fat Bikes.com!
Here is a short video that I put together of the weekend...(No dislikes allowed!)

Justin, I gave you an up, but it seems almost customary that you get two down votes in every vid!

Thanks Webby!
No worries. People can anonymously thumbs down all they want, but I do find it ironic that it only happens once I link a video to this website. If someone goes out of their way to watch & then cowardly dislike a video of someone sharing a fun time without commenting why, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I realize that my videos are not as well done as some others out there. It's just a silly hobby that I'm still learning how to do, and that I enjoy sharing. I mostly do it for myself, as well as for my friends & family. It'll be nice to relive these moments someday several years from now. I do get plenty of compliments, and for that I'm very appreciative!
Thanks again. - Justin

With no moe.down again this year, my sister, bro-in-law, & I decided to attend The Peach Music Festival at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA last weekend. Camping was by no means an easy task up on the mountain, but we had an absolute blast non the less! A video that I put together can be found HERE.
Feedback and/or questions welcome.

Honestly, we were pretty tame compared to some of our neighbors.

2017 Bump

Bumping this old thread with the news that the Moe.down Music Festival returns to Snow Ridge in Turin, NY this summer...with a pretty cool lineup announced earlier today. Always a pretty laid back, and very enjoyable camping festival with good music & good times...Hope to see you there!
