Hello, everyone. Has anyone ever bushwhacked up Ledge Mountain (called "Ledger" on some maps)? The best access to the mountain appears to be from the trail to Rock River/Rock Pond off Route 28 between Blue Mountain Lake and Indian Lake. It appears to be a short jaunt (about one mile one-way), with the first 1/2 of the hike over level ground. I've seen posts on other websites from a couple of folks who have bushwhacked up Ledge/Ledger, but I'd be interested in feedback from people on this site. Thank you.

I just did this again a few days ago. If you can find the ledge with the big cairn on it the view is gorgeous, especially this time of year.
Once you get to the rock outcrops take a quick peek at each one on the way up - you'll know the "right" one when you find it as it has a large cairn and the view is far more open than the others. It's basically completely unobstructed.
This is not my picture, but it shows part of the view. Looking to the right of this you would see Sawyer and Little Sawyer.
